In 2014, aged 14 Morgan started karting, an age considered by many too old to begin a career. Racking up victories weekend after weekend it was clear Morgan was out to prove people wrong. It didn't take long for him to progress into racing cars his first test came just 9 months after his debut race in karting.
2015 saw Morgan begin a testing programme in the Ginetta Junior Championship, a car racing series for 14 - 17 year olds. Confidence began to grow and lap times began to decrease. Testing was a success! Later that year Morgan & his team began assessing options for the following season. His on track talent was clear to see and was noticed by Mini. During the same week Morgan was approached by the series organisers of the UK Mini Challenge race series and was offered a drive.
Signing a deal with Coastal Racing saw Morgan become the youngest driver on the grid aged just 16. Being the only driver on the grid too young to hold a driving license the odds were stacked against him. However in his first weekend he put in an excellent drive to finish 7th in race 3 after starting dead last passing 11 cars on his way to the chequered flag. A season of strong results were to follow the highlight finishing 2nd in the retailers cup championship.
After an amazing opening season racing cars 2017 proved to be an uphill struggle to find the budget required to compete in the season. A deal was made ensuring Morgan at least one race to show case his talents in the BRSCC Fiesta Championship. However the weekend did not go as planned. Friday testing showed pace and promise which carried over into Saturday. Sundays race 1 saw Morgan fall victim to an unavoidable crash with another driver on the opening lap meaning he started last for race 2. In race 2 Morgan showed the drive and passion which got him noticed in 2016, storming into the top 10 on his debut weekend in the series and first time in the car left everyone impressed.
In 2018 Morgan further added to his already impressive racing CV by helping the EnduroKA championship in a tyre test at Brands Hatch. An exciting new championship for 2019 aimed at providing affordable endurance racing series where people can compete in a one make level playing field.
